Daddy dates

Clay took both the girls on their own daddy daughter date.

They both loved it so much and felt so special. Clay really tried hard to think of things that they each would like individually. After they both got home the were all smiles and it was all they could talk about for days!

Kaitlyn was first. It started with breakfast for dinner at Ihop and then they went to this really cool gymnastics place. They have open gym during certain time of the day where you can just go and jump on their trampolines etc. They have this huge slide that you can slide down into a big pit of foam. Kaitlyn can't wait to take the rest of our family.

While they were gone Carter, Mea and I did some crafts and played games.

For Mea's date I didn't get any pictures :(. But she still had just as much fun! For their date first they went to outer limits fun zone and played arcade games. Mea won a bunch of tickets so she even got some souvenirs.   Then they went to Elmers (a local place) and had breakfast for dinner too.

After Mea's date we had to help clean the church for stake conference that weekend so we had to run straight there and clean. But I don't think she minded.

Both of the girls loved it, and I'm sure it will be something they can remember forever! They are so lucky to have such a thoughtful fun dad!

Cute Kids

It's been awhile since I have posted updates about the kids! They are just to cute for words!
The girls dressed Carter up in their dance clothes. He loved it, I'm sure in a few years though he wont be to thrilled. He is starting to love to play with his sisters and wants to do just what they do.
These kids are so lucky to have such a great grandma. Every holiday Grandma sends the kids handwritten cards addressed to each of them personally. It is so fun for them to get mail and makes them feel so special!
Yep it happened, its hard to see but if you look closely you will see a big chunk of Kaitlyn's hair missing. Her friend Lily was over and those two cut each others hair. Unfortunately, well or maybe fortunately for us Lily got it the worst. She had a ponytail on the top of her head and Kait chopped it right off. Oh man I though Lily's mom would hate me forever. Luckily she was really good and just laughed about it. We took Kait in the next day to get a cute bob haircut.
This little man is into everything these days. He especially loves go through dad's bin.
Seriously could you not just eat him up, he is so precious!
Kait had her first day of Subeams. She is just growing up in to such a beautiful girl! She was more then ready to move up. Her birthday is in Feb. so she is the oldest in her class.
This is Kait and her friend Lily (the haircut fiasco), luckily Lily had a really good hairdresser and did miracles for her hair and now it look so cute and you can't even tell.  They are in sunbeams together, it will be a challenge for me this year to get these two to be good and sit still. They just love each other and always want to play.
Carter brought me all of dad's stuff to put on him. It was so cute, and then when I said smile he gave me this cheesy grin.
Mea taught FHE on love. She drew all these little pictures and cut them out, most of them were just odd shapes. Then for each picture she said something about following Jesus' example of love. I was very proud of her as she did this all by herself. She just loves to teach and wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She loves to play school.
Carter's haircut, he loves to get it cut and is very good. I just thought he looked adorable in that little cape.

It's amazing how fast the kids grow up.

I miss my babies something terrible,  but I'm excited that they are growing up too and love the little people they are!

More birthday fun

For birthdays it I usually only do a friend party every other year on the even ages. It is time consuming and expensive to have parties. But I do love to plan and throw and awesome party that is why I opted for every other year. I feel like the big birthdays are all evens 8, 12, 16, and 18. This year Maleah turned 5 so it was her off year. I still wanted to do something and make her feel special though.

In Maleah's preschool the birthday kid gets to bring a treat for the whole class, sit in the birthday chair and wear the cool birthday hat. She was so excited to get all the extra attention at school. They were learning about eating healthy this day and did some exercising, hence the sweatpants :). She sure does love her preschool!

Since she didn't get a party I did let her pick 1 friend to go to the movies with. She picked Kaydance from church and was so excited. We went to see Despicable Me 2, which was really cute and a fun movie that is not princess, if you know what I mean.
We did have a family dinner on her birthday as well, it was really low key and nothing to fancy but I think she enjoyed her birthday.

Boy she is growing too fast and I really do miss her as a baby, but I'm loving seeing her grow and becoming the person she is!

Maleah's Dance Recital

My sweet little Mea had her first ever dance recital! She did AMAZING! Her class is 3-5 year olds and she was the youngest one in her class. They were all so cute, but my Mea was the best! During the actual performance no photography or video recording was allowed so this is at the dress rehersal. I was trying to hold my friends little baby, watch Kaitlyn and record Mea all at the same time.....so sorry its a little shakey!

This is one proud Momma!

Happy Birthday Princess, today our little baby turned 3 years old! Maleah I hope you had a great birthday and that you felt like the princess you are! You truly make our lives happier! You are always so sweet and have a special ablity to know when someone is sad and needs a hug, especially mommy. You have a very soft heart and you never want to see anyone sad or crying. You love to play with Kaitlyn and you always try so hard to take care of her. You are always so kind to share your things with sister. Your sister loves you very much!
You love going to dance class and then showing off all your moves to all of your family, especially grandma and grandpa. You love to sing and you are very good at remembering the words to all the songs you know.  You are such a good helper, and you are always willing to do what mom askes you to do. You love to draw and color pictures for grandma and mommy. You love to pray and you never let us forget to have family prayer each night, you are starting to say your prayers all on your own and you are so good at it!

Maleah's Candy Party

Maleah's birthday party was on Saturday, it was such a fun day! Thank you to all the people who helped me get ready for it and for everyone who drove a long way to get here! Maleah was such a cutie, mostly she loved playing with her cousins. Here are the pictures of that day, her party was a candy party becuase she LOVES candy.

This was actually on Wed, her actual birthday. I though she should at least get one present on her real birthday.

Everytime we would go the store and pass the bike isle, Mea would say Mommy I want a bycycle. Without even know this Marcus and Shylo got her a tricycle. She LOVES it, they made her one very happy girl.

This was Mea's big present from us, she loves to play with her kitchen. It really will entertaine her forever. Kaitlyn likes it too. We decided to get a bigger one so she can play with it once she is older as well. For now she has to stand on a stool to reach the microwave, but she doesn't care.

My TWO year old

My sweet baby Mea turned two today, where has the time gone?  It is amazing to me how much she has grown and learned just in the past two years. Maleah is such a fun part of our family, and is very loved!  Maleah is a very quick learner, she is talking so so good. Maleah can sing I am a child of god, part of the first verse and the whole chorus, she can also sing her ABC's she just skips a couple letters. Mea loves to talk on the phone, she loves to read her books, and play mommy to her dolls. Mea HATES to eat, except for candy I think grandma has something to do with this:). She usually does ok with breakfast and lunch but for some reason she just doesn't like dinner. Mea is a very loving little girl, she will give anyone a hug and a kiss. Every time she gets off the phone with someone she will kiss the phone after she says good bye. We love you Maleah so so much, you are a wonderful daughter and a great big sister!

GOODBYE JANUARY!!!

January has not been a good month to us.  I'm glad to see it gone and have February finally here!  In February Kaitlyn will FINALLY be here, it's valentines day, and it means spring is almost here. Hopefully February will be good to us, I have high expectations for it!

This is sweet Mea with her bags. She loves to carry them around on her shoulder like mom. If the diaper bag is to heavy she will just drag it behind her and walk all over the house putting things in them.
Her hair is starting to get so long that it's always in her eyes. I try to pin it back or put it in a piggy tails but she always pulls it out like five seconds after I put it in. I don't really want to cut her bangs but I might have to.

Mea with her castle that Daddy built for her. She loves her blocks and she is so good at putting them together she can do it all by herself.

Well yes my little 15 month old sweet baby has to have a cast.  She broke her leg two weeks ago.  I feel so bad for her because she can't walk with it on so she has to crawl everywhere, which would be fine but she doesn't really understand why so she tries to walk and when she can't she gets so frustrated, she is starting to adjust though.  Because she is so little their bone heal very quickly so she only has to have the cast on for three weeks. She had to have a splint for the first few days and then she got the cast on so she only has just under two weeks left.

Also in January we decided to redo our bathroom. We have hated it since we moved in but just never got around to it.  This is the before and after pictures. Clay worked so hard on it, and it is exactly how I wanted it. I love my bathroom now! Thanks Clay!

Before

After

I only have two weeks left until my due date, little Kaitlyn will be her so soon and I can't wait I wish I could have her tomorrow!  School is good (If anyone knows a good physics tutor send them my way), it will be hard to keep up after I have Kaitlyn but luckily I have the best husband and family in the whole world!  They already help me so much and I wouldn't be able to finish school without them. Thanks I love you tons!

HaPpy BirTHdAy

My sweet baby turned 1 year old this month, and we had an awesome party for her last weekend. She loved it, she loved all the people that came, she loved the cake, and she loved all her presents! Thanks everyone who came especially those who drove from Utah, it wouldn't have been the same without you. I had so much fun planning her party, it was a jungle/animal theme. We had such good food, good cake, and good company, Mea loved being the center of attention. She especially loved getting to play with her cousin Makayla, it was a great day for her! Thanks everyone!
