This has been a wonderful christmas, this year we had christmas with my family in Idaho. On Christmas eve we got to talk to Clay's brother who is on a mission in Korea. It was so cool, we talked to him through Skype using video chat so we got to see him as well. Scott, Clays brother, hasn't got to see Maleah since she was born so we were pretty excited. Then on Christmas morning it was storming so bad, and there was a blizzard warning out for southeast Idaho. My parents don't live in town, so the road that they live on has a lot of fields and when the wind blows the snow accross the road from the fields it creates HUGE snow drifts on our road. In front of my mom and dad's house there were three cars that had gotten stuck in the snow drifts and nobody could pull them out, and the road from there into town was closed off, so the cars have sat there all day and all night. We left our house in Pocatello and when we got to Blackfoot my dad met us and we took the back roads to mom and dad's. Dad has a snow plow on one of his trucks and so he lead the way through the snow drifts and we followed. Luckily we had the truck but even in the truck we would have gotten stuck if dad hadn't went first. On Christmas day my dad and brother plowed our road for people to get through probably ten times and each time the drifts were just as high as before. Crazy! We decided not to try to make it back home so we stayed the night, it was fun! We didn't have anything we needed with us, but luckily everything we needed we got for christmas (PJ's, toothburshes, ect.). Maleah got a lot of cute things, and everyone had so much fun with her. Now we are heading to Springville for Christmas with Clay's family. We are so lucky to get to have Christmas twice.

LOVE
Ok, I know I totally have the wrong holiday and valentines isn't for two more months but I just feel so much love today for my family. I love my little Maleah so much and I can't believe how fast she is growing, this morning she was all smiles while her daddy was leaving for work. It was so cute to see her smile at him! I love Clay so much and appreciate all he does for me and for Maleah. He is such a good dad and when he comes home from work he just wants to hold Maleah all night and never put her down. He works so hard so that I can stay home with Maleah and so we can have and do nice things. I love you Clay! And yes, I do love Christmas too. I love the spirit of giving, remembering Christ in our lives, being with family, buying presents for people, and good food, and I even love the snow, but only during the week of Christmas. I love everyone in our families and I am so thankful for each of you and everything you do for Clay and I!

Cute Pictures
Yesterday Maleah turned one month old, WOW time has flown by. This past month has been so fun to get to know our sweat little girl, she grows and changes everyday. I love being a mom and I love taking care of her and being able to be with her all day long. One of my friends took her pictures for us, and they are so adorable she did a great job. Right now there is just one picture but she will post more latter. To see her pictures go HERE!

Maleah LaRue Kappas
Our Sweet little girl was born Monday November 10th @ 7:11pm. She weighed 8lbs. 3ozs. and was 21in. long. She is so beautiful it is amazing to me that just five days ago she was still in heaven with her heavenly father and now she is here with us. She is the sweetest baby and hardly ever cries. Clay and I are so thankful to finally have her here with us. Here are some pictures of our precious little girl!

Our New Blog
We have had so much fun reading our friends and families blogs that we wanted to start one of our own. Espcially with our little Maleah on the way, we wanted to be able to share pictures and things about her with everyone. Maleah will be here anyday now, for sure by Tuesday, and we are so excited we just can't wait. Hopefully I will be able to keep this up, and find things to blog about, it will probley be mostly about Maleah :).
