Easter Weekend

Ok Easter was just a few days ago but it already seems like it has been weeks. Although we still have piles and piles of easter candy haha. There were two easter egg hunts here in Pocatello and they were both at the same time. So we choose to go to the one that would have the park sectioned off for the 0-3 year olds, I thought that Mea wouldn't have to compete with all the older kids. Well apparently everyone thought the same as I did haha, and Mea only got two eggs and it was because I ran and saved them for her. Then later I found out that at the other egg hunt there was hardly anyone there, haha oh well Mea didn't know the difference and she still had fun.

Excited for the egg hunt

Sunday was a busy but relaxing day. When we woke up the gils were so excited to see all the candy and presents. I loved seeing there happy excited faces. After church we hurried and headed to grandmas house. Grandma made a yummy dinner, and had an easter egg hunt for the girls. I kinda forgot that my mom would get them candy as well, so they now have tons and tons of candy. Mea also got Tangled from the Easter bunny and we watched it later that night with all of my family. It is so funny because I can totally tell that my dad would rather be watching an action or something a little more grownup. But he never compains and he sits and watches Micky Mouse and Tangled or whatever the girls want to watch, he is such a good grandpa.Clay had to work Sunday night, and I had clinicals in the morning in Blackfoot so the girls and I stayed at grandmas house.

The Easter bunny even came to Grandmas house!

This picture is so precious to me. This is Mea holding grandpas hand while she was watching Micky Mouse and he was sleeping. She loves her grandpa so so much!

Anyway, Mea has eaten way way to much candy this past week. She is so sneeky to becuase every time I turn around she has candy and half the time I don't know how or where she got it from. Also exciting news, I am done with clinical, then I only have one final on Thur of next week and I am done. This means I don't have to work for free any more YEAH! I have waited two years for this and now it is finally here. I'm super excited to be done!

Oh Lord my Redeemer

This is one of my favorite songs, every time I hear it, it brings me to tears and touches my soul! One of my friends sang this song in sacrament today and it truly touched me, I wanted to share it with everyone. I know that my savior and redeemer LIVES. Christ paid the ultimate sacrifice for each of us, and on the third day was resurrected from the tomb. Because of this we will be able to live again as well. I am so thankful for Easter and the opportunity we have to remember this!

"...one of the greatest consolations of this Easter season is that because Jesus walked such a long, lonely path, utterly alone, we do not have to do so." Jeffrey R. Holland

P.S. - Easter pictures coming soon! Sharon I promise!

Happy Easter

Our easter was alot of fun this year. We drove to Blackfoot and went to church with my parents, they loved it and it was nice to be back to my ward that I grew up in. After we had one of the best dinners we get to have all year. The easter bunny even came to visit us at my mom's house.

This is Maleah's easter, we got it for her a few weeks ago, but I couldn't wait to give it to her so she got it early, I figure she doesn't know the difference anyways. At first she didn't like it very much but she is starting to like it more. We got a cute video of her jumping in it but it is on my sisters camera so I will post it later! Maleah also got some little toys and some new pants. Altogether we had a great easter, it was nice to be reminded of the true meaning of easter, Christ's resurrection and the atonement.
