Moab Fun!

Last weekend we went to Moab with Clay's family for the car show. I was a lot of fun, there were tons of really cool cars, some old and some new. Then on Sunday we hiked to Delicate Arch, I had never been before, it was awsome! The weekend was full of fun, ice cream, cool cars, hot sun, and cold too, hiking, tonz of people all over the place, getting to know family better, good food, and lots of driving! Thanks Steve and Julie for a great weekend! I don't remeber the name of this arch but i think it's double arch it was way cool! Me and my AWSOME sister-in-law Rachael, watching the cars dragin' main. Delicate Arch, this was so awsome. when I see things like this I wonder how people can think that there is no God that all this could just happen. Absolutely not, this is way to beautiful, and amazing to have just happened. Clay and I in the arch. Maleah's Getting So BIG :(

My little one is growing up way to fast! Everyday she is learning new things, she is so curious and wants to touch everything! She can now sit up on her own, and even reach for toys that are close by her without falling over. She is so strong and I know she will be crawling soon, she is already trying. And she is so cute when she pushes her little bum in the air to get on her knees, a few times she has even gotten on her hands and her knees for a few seconds. She loves her baby food and would eat it all the time if I would let her. I lover her so much and I hope that I can cherish and remember all these little moments.






Maleah loves Jack and she laughs and laughs whenever he comes by her, so cute they will be best friends!

Happy Easter

Our easter was alot of fun this year. We drove to Blackfoot and went to church with my parents, they loved it and it was nice to be back to my ward that I grew up in. After we had one of the best dinners we get to have all year. The easter bunny even came to visit us at my mom's house.




This is Maleah's easter, we got it for her a few weeks ago, but I couldn't wait to give it to her so she got it early, I figure she doesn't know the difference anyways. At first she didn't like it very much but she is starting to like it more. We got a cute video of her jumping in it but it is on my sisters camera so I will post it later! Maleah also got some little toys and some new pants. Altogether we had a great easter, it was nice to be reminded of the true meaning of easter, Christ's resurrection and the atonement.

Happy Birthday Clay

Yesterday was Clay's birthday, he turned 29. He says now he isn't counting the years until he is 30 he is counting down the days haha. Happy Birthday Clay I hope you had a great day! Clay you are such an awesome person, a wonderful husband and father! Maleah and I couldn't ask for anything better, you are so good to both of us and treat us both like princesses. I truly am the lucky one. For those of you that don't know Clay very well, I know I am bias but I think he could win the award for the best husband ever, seriously. He does the laundry without me ever having to ask him, he always does the dishes when they need done, he changes Maleah's poopy diapers even though it makes him gag haha. And he even likes our blog and reads almost on a daily basis. Clay always fills my car up with gas because I always forget, he goes to the store to get me tampons and doesn't even complain about it. He sacrifices so much so I can go to school, he stays up with Maleah to watch her while I am at school after working 12 hours and being dead tired. He has such a strong testimony and he always helps me to understand when I have questions. He is a great listener and such a good example to both our families. The list could go on and on but I love you Clay so much, happy birthday1

Emergency Bath!!!

Maleah pooped and usually it is a fairly solid piece of pooh, but no this time it wasn't and I undid her diaper but I left it under her until I could get a wipe to clean her and in the time from when I undid her diaper to the time I grabbed a wipe she had kicked her legs and got it all over her and she stuck her had in it YUCK! So we took an emergency bath! haha!

Coupon Savings

Lately I have started savings the coupons from the sunday paper, and I get a lot of them online. Some of you have asked me if I really am saving money, at first I really wasn't sure if it was worth it or not. But now I am getting the hang of it and the answer if YES, YES, YES! This past week I have gotten some great deals.
Does it take a lot of work? YES!
Does it take being very organized? YES!
Is it a little annoying? YES!
But is it fun? YES in a weird way, I love feeling like I have gotten a good deal on something!
So I will continue trying the coupons out, I think it is saving me $$$$, especially in the long run, my food storage has doubled in the past month!

Walgreens



The Softsoap was $3.99 then you got a RR (register rewards) for a free softsoap so they were $2.00 each!
The Edge Shaving Gel was $2.99 then you got a RR for $3.00 off your next purchase so it was FREE!
The Skintimat Shaving Gel was the same deal as the Edge FREE!
The Chapstick was $1.99 then you got a RR for $2.00 making it FREE!
The halls coughdrops were $1.99 then I had a walgreens coupon making them $1.39, then I had a manufactures coupon for $1.00 off so that made them $0.39 each!
The Renyolds Wrap was $1.59 - Walgreens coupon made them $0.89 each then I had a coupon for $1.00 so that made them $0.56 each!
The razor was $12.49 - Walgreens coupon made it $10.49 then I had a manufactures coupon for $2.00 off so the razor was $8.49. This isn't the best deal ever but Clay needed a new razor :).
The Tuff garbage bags were $5.00 not the best deal but pretty good and in needed garbage bags!

So the trick is doing multiple transactions so you can use your RR's. I still have $5.00 in RR's that I haven't used yet, so maybe next week!


Walmart



The Kraft salad dressing was on sale for $1.59 then I had a coupon for $1.50 of so $0.09 each, WOW great deal!
The Maricle Whip was 2 for $6.00 then I had a coupon for $0.50 off so that made them $2.50, ok deal!
Huggies diapers Jumbo pack normally $11.00 I had a coupon for $5.00 off so $6.00 each, WOW again!
Huggies wipes normally $6.19 I had a coupon for $3.00 off so $3.19 each, WOW!

Albertsons



The Post cereal was $1.67 each then I had a coupon for $0.50 off each making them $1.17 then I got a RR for $5.00 off my next purchase making it $0.34 each! I love honey bunches of oats!

The rest were 10 for $10 so I bought 10 items total. I had a coupon for $0.27 off each Dole item and I had a coupon for $0.50 off each toothbrush, and I had a coupon for Buy one get one free for the Glade so total it was $6.95.
