The Merriest Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you had a great Christmas with loved ones and friends! Our Christmas was wonderful, one of the best! We got to stay home this year which meant we got to watch Maleah and Kaitlyn open their presents here at our own home. It was so much fun, Maleah didn't get the whole Santa thing, until she saw all the presents. As soon as she saw the tree she said "Santa really did bring me presents" haha it was so cute! Her and Kaitlyn both had a blast opening their Santa presents. My mom and dad came down to watch and then we had a Christmas breakfast.

After was hurried and got ready and then headed down to my mom and dad's house. We had a huge yummy dinner and then opened more presents. We were spoiled, thank you mom and dad! This Christmas was so nice and warm and peaceful. It was so nice to be able to remember Christ and his birth, his life, and the sacrifices he made for us. I love that everyone is trying to be more like Jesus this time of the year!

Kaitlyn and her toy from Santa.

The girls and all their presents from Santa: they got mostly clothes this year.

Maleah got a baby alive from Santa, she loves it and couldn't put it down all day. It eats bananas and drinks from it's sippy cup and then it talks as well.

Her new doggie form daddy!

Grandma Oler got them a cute doll house, Kaitlyn loved it!

Look at this face, it is the cutest! She always has a comb over now, haha, I don't know how else to do it.

Kaitlyn enjoying opening her presents!

Mea was so funny, we would tell her to smile for the camera and she would smile as big as she possibly could, it was so cute!

Family picture: I don't know what Mea is doing?

Also Kaitlyn is walking, yeah! Check out the video.

OUR VISIT TO THE TRUJILLO'S HOME!

One of the members from Clay's mission was able to come to Logan on a student visa.  Because of new government rules in Venezuela she has to go home next week. So we made the trip to Logan on Thursday to visit her before she leaves. She has been staying with one of Clays companions from his mission. We got to visit with them and we had a really good time at their home. Anna Trujillo and Dulce Gutierrez (the member girl from clay's mission) made us a traditional Venezuelan Christmas dinner. The food was great, they were all speaking Spanish the whole time which was overwhelming for me, but it was fun to listen to Clay talk to them. It was fun to meet some of the people that knew Clay during his mission. They were so warm and inviting to our family. We had a wonderful time with them, I am sad that Dulce has to leave, and we can't visit her again.

Clay and Juan Trujillo, Clay was Elder Trujillo's trainer when they were companions.

Maleah's Candy Party

Maleah's birthday party was on Saturday, it was such a fun day! Thank you to all the people who helped me get ready for it and for everyone who drove a long way to get here! Maleah was such a cutie, mostly she loved playing with her cousins. Here are the pictures of that day, her party was a candy party becuase she LOVES candy.

This was actually on Wed, her actual birthday. I though she should at least get one present on her real birthday.

Everytime we would go the store and pass the bike isle, Mea would say Mommy I want a bycycle. Without even know this Marcus and Shylo got her a tricycle. She LOVES it, they made her one very happy girl.

This was Mea's big present from us, she loves to play with her kitchen. It really will entertaine her forever. Kaitlyn likes it too. We decided to get a bigger one so she can play with it once she is older as well. For now she has to stand on a stool to reach the microwave, but she doesn't care.

My TWO year old

My sweet baby Mea turned two today, where has the time gone?  It is amazing to me how much she has grown and learned just in the past two years. Maleah is such a fun part of our family, and is very loved!  Maleah is a very quick learner, she is talking so so good. Maleah can sing I am a child of god, part of the first verse and the whole chorus, she can also sing her ABC's she just skips a couple letters. Mea loves to talk on the phone, she loves to read her books, and play mommy to her dolls. Mea HATES to eat, except for candy I think grandma has something to do with this:). She usually does ok with breakfast and lunch but for some reason she just doesn't like dinner. Mea is a very loving little girl, she will give anyone a hug and a kiss. Every time she gets off the phone with someone she will kiss the phone after she says good bye. We love you Maleah so so much, you are a wonderful daughter and a great big sister!

Confessions

Ok, I guess I need to confess, I am a slacker! I'm addicted to these stupid (ok there actually really cool) blogs.  It seems I always find the time to hurry and check these blogs everyday to see if there are any new posts.  But I can't find the time to do my homework, write my 12 page research paper that is due in two weeks, I seriously need to get my butt in gear on that one, update all my primary lists, make the primary activity invitations, ect. ect. You get the idea right!  Well to help with this I have decided I need to post these to my blog so I can see which ones have been updated recently, ok actually since yesterday, instead of clicking on every single one of them.  So I am going to share all my secret blogs with you. Now you will all know the truth, I have no creativity, everything I do I just download from the these blogs and copy their ideas. Well now you can to, but I'm warning you it is addicting! They are at the bottom on the right side under seriously the BEST!

Happy Halloween

Good news, I finally got a new camera and just in time for halloween yeah!  So maybe just maybe I can stay caught up a little better on this little blog (at least I will try).  We celebrated our halloween on Saturday, like most people I think.  My mom, dad, and both sisters are in Oregon so they didn't get to see the girls in their cute costumes, but luckily I have a camera now and I took lots of cute pictures for them.  Our ward did trunk-or-treating, I practiced with Mea all day. I told her if she said trick-or-treat she would get candy at the ward party tonight.  She did so great each person we went to, she said trick-or-treat and then thank you after she got her candy.  Then our ward had a halloween party, Mea went crazy you would have though I was giving her candy all day, haha I really wasn't she hardly had any candy actually.  She just loved all the space she could run around and all the other kids to play with.  Needless to say she was a tired girl tonight haha. Kaitlyn could have cared less about the trick-or-treating or the ward party but she was the cutest monkey ever. Everyone keep saying that HE was such a cute monkey, I told Clay I should have put a pink bow on her monkey ear.  I guess mostly boys dress up like monkeys????  Overall it was a fun halloween, it was nice that Mea actually got it and knew what to do.  Sorry the pictures are a little out of order.

Other news: Kaitlyn is walking! Ok not totally on her own she has to be holding onto something, but she is definitely on her way. She is growing up so fast, she is always go go go trying to keep up with her sister. She is almost nine months now.  She has the cutest personality, she is full of laughes and is such a little jokester. Mea is almost two, she now LOVES snow white and kind of loves beauty and the beast. She love Micky mouse club house also.  Mea loves to play mommy with her baby and her doggie.  We are so proud of both our beautiful girls and love them so much!

For my Sister!

This post is for my sister, you see I haven't posted in quite a while and my sweet sister Sharon lives far far away in Portland :( so we never see each other.  I promised Sharon that I would post to my blog for her, so this is for you Sharon!
My camera BROKE, and I haven't gotten a new one yet, so all these are from my phone sorry the quality is not very good.

My cute sister Sharon last time they came to visit.  I miss you, come home SOON :)

Somehow Clay got the girls to both fall asleep on the couch like this haha. Of course they didn't sleep very long.

Maleah at the Eastern Idaho State Fair Parade.  She really liked it for about five minutes and then she was done and just wanted to play.

At the parade

Mea liked the fair, she loved all the animals

Look at this cute face, My pickaboo Kaitlyn. She liked the fair too

This was the only ride Mea could go one, but she loved it.

Maleah's new big girl bed.  We finally decided to move Kaitlyn out of our bedroom.  But in order to do this we had to move Maleah out of her crib.  She loves her new bed and does very well in it.

Ok, so my halloween decorations are not nearly as cute as yours and I really don't have very many but here you go!

Some stuff I got last year on the after halloween sales, some I bought this year from the dollar store and from the craft store.

I made this and the picture color stinks, but it has a cute green background and the letters are sparkly orange. They really are cute even though you can't tell here.

Sharon, I love you so much! You are a great example to me and I am so glad you are my sister!
